Brooklyn, NY (October 10, 2013) - Leisure Life NYC, a luxury menswear boutique, will be celebrating "the life you want" with distinctive style and artistry through a week-long calendar of events for its grand opening from Monday, October 14 to Sunday, October 20, 2013. Located at 559 Myrtle Avenue, Leisure Life NYC specializes in quality lifestyle products, from men's clothing, leather goods, accessories, to art and much more. Providing today's modern gentleman with a diverse range in his collection, Leisure Life NYC is a haberdashery/men's club that is a new take on the shopping experience. Leisure Life welcomes today's modern man who is a sharp-dresser, educated, upwardly-mobile and wants the items in his closet to reflect a level of exclusivity. "The Leisure Life man knows the current trends, yet his taste remains classic. He wants items that are highly sought limited editions," says Charnier Corey designer and co-owner. "He prefers his pieces to be direct reflections of the individual that he is. The week-long events celebrating the grand opening are as follows: - Monday, October 14 [5-8pm] - Rog Walker presents and signs his new photography book in which the subject and overall theme is "Vintage." - Tuesday, October 15 [6-8pm] - Up and coming author Shannon Ousley reads and autographs her novel "Dear Nikki." Shannon's book is a coming of age story from the female perspective.
- Wednesday, October 16 [6-9pm] - STYLE LESSON will teach guests how to add that extra panache to their wardrobe with NYC's own elite stylist and boutique owner Ignacio Quiles while taste testing Brenea Rosé Sparkling Champagne.
- Thursday, October 17 [6-8pm] - Cultured Couture Vintage Pop-Up Shop by Philadelphia based sellers of high-end vintage leather goods, menswear and accessories.
- Friday, October 18 [6-9pm] - Join us as TheModRockers.com blogger James Jean moderates a MENSWEAR STYLE PANEL. Panelists will be Fuse Green, an American contemporary graphic designer, illustrator, and artist whose notable clients include: Smirnoff, Nike, Def Jam, Procter & Gamble, Rocawear, and Coca Cola; Ali of a Noble Savage creator of original marketing, advertising and branding concepts, styling and art direction services; and Rashad Smith, prominent hip hop and R&B music producer behind some of the industry's greatest: Nas, Mary J. Blige, Notorious B.I.G, and 50 Cent.
- Saturday, October 19 [6-10pm] - Come celebrate a not to be missed grand opening party hosted by MTV's Guy Code comedian Damien Lemon and exquisitely catered by celebrity Chef Danielle.
- Sunday, October 20 [6-9pm] - GAME NIGHT hosted by Brooklyn's Whiskey Boys, a social networking group founded on whiskey education, celebration and fellowship.
