Everything ends too soon. So we ask you to join us Sunday, August 10th for a party dedicated to the end of summer. We would like to thank everyone who came out to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. It was truly an honor to share our space with such beautiful people. The most challenging aspect of my creation is to establish a dual system of communication, a dialog in which active wear and more traditional menswear are equal participants, united by the S/S '14 Leisure Life NYC Collection entitled Physical Education. In a suggestive and theatrical way I seek to raise questions, to entice one to probe the imagery that I present and attempt to decipher it's meaning.
In one way, my attempt is to re-educate:
Our body esteem is strengthened by good nutrition, exercise, and positive thoughts affirming that we deserve to be well-that our bodies are precious. We applied the same design approach to the line and produced garments that will allow you to be both stylish and relaxed. The collection, which consists of: oxford shirts in linen and Egyptian cotton, nylon anorak pull-overs with leather buttons, the Leisure Pant in khaki, Olive green and raw denim and our Captain's Cap in sand suede, black lambskin leather and raw denim and denim bucket hat with linen yachting stripe. We also introduced two new bags in peacock blue waxed canvas and Italian leather. Our attempt is to elevate the look of the new man, while providing options that are familiar while still exhibiting a fresh take on active menswear. All products are available in store and online.
